SEASON NOTES

This year marks the League's 40th season of continuous operation since the inaugural 1976-77 season. The League celebrated with commemerative patches that were sewn on all team jerseys.

Des Moines Capitals broke the record for most Varsity Regular-Season Championships with eight titles.

The Varsity year-end tournament was held in Ames February 26-28 followed by the Jr. Varsity tournament in Ames March 4-6.

Varsity and Jr. Varsity tournaments now have free admission. Annual team dues were increased to offset tournament expenses.
