Omaha Gladiators exit the League.

Cedar Rapids combines with Dubuque to form one team.

The Des Moines Capitals hosted the Varsity year-end tournament at the Metro Ice Sports Arena in Urbandale, February 27-29. The Varsity Tournament Banquet was held Saturday night at the historic Val Air Ballroom. The event featured popular comedian Willie Farrell.
