| Tim Moylan Tranquility Iceplex opened in November 1995 as the South Pacific Tranquility Iceplex, a facility privately financed by Tim Moylan, owner and president of South Pacific Tranquility Corp. Following Moylan’s tragic drowning in August 1996, the rink was renamed the Tim Moylan Tranquility Iceplex in his honor. (Over time the name was shortened to Moylan Iceplex.)
