Jr. Varsity regular-season games will no longer end in a tie. If a game is tied at the end of regulation, teams will go to a three-player shootout, followed by a one-player, sudden-death shootout if needed. Both teams will be awarded one point in the standings, while the shootout-winning team will be awarded one additional point. |
New All-Star Selection Process: Coaches will now select First-Team and Second-Team All-Stars - regardless of division. Coaches will select the All-League team from a ballot containing names of First-Team All-Stars. |
After attending the Chicago/America's Showcase continuously since 1990, Team Midwest earned the #1 seed at the conclusion of pool play. The team was later eliminated in the championship quarterfinals. |
![]() Division champions will no longer earn a tournament seed of first, second or third. Each division champion is guaranteed a spot in the tournament, but will be ranked among the top eight according to points earned during the regular season. |
