Season Notes |
First year both the Varsity and Junior Varsity year-end tournaments are centralized in Ames. |
Omaha rejoins the League as the Omaha Energy, sponsored by the Omaha Gladiators organization. The team will play home games at Sidner Ice Arena in Fremont, Nebraska. |
The League now has 14 teams, the most in League history. Teams are divided into East and West Divisions. Each team plays opponents in their own division three times and teams in the opposite divison twice for a 32-game schedule. |
Lincoln Jr. Stars wins its first regular-season championship. |
