Season Notes
Sioux City hosted the Varsity tournament. The banquet was held at the 185th Air National Guard armoury.
Quad City petitions the League to begin play in 2000-2001.
Cedar Rapids Ice Arena opens January 8, 2000.
The longest Varsity game to date was played at the Varsity year-end tournament, Sunday, March 12, at IBP Ice Arena in Sioux City. Fifth-Place Game: Omaha Gladiators 3, Omaha Jr. Lancers 2 (4 overtimes) Omaha Gladiators Mike Markey scores at 1:39 of 4th overtime, unassisted
